Laura Elena Luhn
I've been taking pictures for most of my life. Right after I graduated from college (with a BS in psych), I was working at a climbing wall with NO direction whatsoever in my life - until my grandfather asked me why I didn't study photography, so I did (I ended up with an associate's degree in photo. Go figure). I have been in the professional wedding and portrait business for almost eight years now.
I love people. I love to talk to them, I love to interact with them, and I love to photograph them. There is something very satisfying to me about capturing people's personalities and big moments on camera, whether it be a child taking his first steps or a bride walking down the aisle. I also tremendously enjoy the outdoors, and combining people and outdoor photography is one of my passions. It makes me happy to be laying in the grass to capture the expression on a toddler's face as she inspects a bug she's discovering for the first time, or using an amazing natural backdrop to create a beautiful portrait of a newlywed couple.
I spent the first 30 years of my life living in Ohio. Recently, my husband and I took the plunge and moved to Colorado - I can't WAIT to see the photographic possibilities my new home has in store for me!
